Sorry for the multiple threads- I am a first time solo buyer and hopeless with decision making. Please which would you prefer between both couches?

The first one. I prefer the style of the 2nd one but it looks like it will sag within months. Have you tried them both?

Daisy4569 · 11/12/2021 21:30

Second one

ISeeTheLight · 11/12/2021 21:30

I also find those loose back cushions don't keep shape and are not supportive, certainly not long term.

catfunk · 11/12/2021 21:32

I'm not keen on the first one at all. Second one I don't mind as much but bear in mind those arms aren't comfy to rest your head or arm one.
Heads up sofas often have a 3 month wait if you're not aware x

First one. Who doesn't love a recliner?

bloodywhitecat · 11/12/2021 21:33

None of them, Sofology are a bloody nightmare to deal with once they have your money.

MissyB1 · 11/12/2021 21:34

First one purely because it reclines. However neither looks particularly comfortable.

Chloemol · 11/12/2021 21:34

Second one

isthisthelife · 11/12/2021 21:35

@ISeeTheLight going to try again on Monday. Couldn't decide last time I went. My sisters think the second one is ugly but I like the idea of a reclining sofa 🥲

Neither. Sofology are a massive pile of wank.

isthisthelife · 11/12/2021 21:36

@catfunk thank you. That's why I need to make a decision quick! Already stalled enough.

@Shedmistress difficult to get a pretty recliner, it seems.

Would anyone kindly recommend a good sofa retailer then? Don't like the ones I've seen on dfs

Neither, both look uncomfortable 😬

VonWeasel · 18/12/2021 20:28

Just got a sofa from these people and it's fab plus loads cheaper than some of the other retailers.

Look at IKEA, good range, sturdy and you can change the covers if they wear out or you change your colour scheme (lots of companies make loose covers).
I would look on FB or Gumtree for preloved though, much cheaper and therefore less stressful if you get it wrong.
