One bed, two duvets

I’ve seen several times on here that people are r3commending separate duvets, to prevent fighting over the duvet at night.
I’m finding that I get lovely and warm in my duvet, but the DH gets up or turns over letting in a draft of cold air which wakes me up.

Looking into the idea of separate duvets, but I think it may look ‘odd’.
So, if you have two duvets on one bed, could you please show a photo of your made up bed, so I can see what they look like please?

Have a look on German language home sites as this is common - my friends tell me this is normal (I found it odd on holiday)

Not got a picture but DH and I did this in a rental house that had the most ridiculous sized bed in the master.
DH had a double, I had a king. When made, I put the double down first not over hanging the bed at all. Then I'd put the king ontop of that - and it still didn't hang over the sides....
The double either matched the king or the bottom sheet, depending on when we'd bought the linen.

We have a single duvet each with a king size on top.

I have 2 doubles on a super king. They just join in the middle and look neat, with a throw over the bottom. I can't send a picture as the dc is in the asleep (drawback of an enormous bed, every bugger wants to sleep in it).

I hate this, rented a place owner by Germans pre Covid with 2 separate single duvets. Could barely sleep as the sodding things kept sliding off in all directions so we were only properly covered if we lay totally still.

We have a king size bed with a king size duvet each. We have matching bedding and lay 1 duvet on top of the other.

We do this too! Absolute game changer! I sleep so much better now. We just a king size duvet and a double duvet. The king size goes over the double and you wouldn't know there's a double underneath

Super king bed, single duvets each, bedspread over the top (for looks only) = perfect nights sleep!

I have started to do thus its really good. Doesn't look as nice when made but who cares
