1930s house fireplace help

Moving into a 1930s stone built ex-council house in a small semi rural village.
It currently has this fireplace. (1st pic )
The fireplace in my current house is an Ivory gas stove. (2nd pic)
Should I go for the same again ?
Or something else ? Would something like this one look wrong? (3rd pic)
Suggestions appreciated

I think it depends on how you plan the room to look but I, personally, prefer number 3 over the others.

No 3 for me aswell

Thanks I’m liking the third one. I’d probably be doing a fairly neutral room, sofa is Chesterfield sort of style. Would it work ? I’ve looked at Pinterest too much and now I’ve no clue what’s good or bad !

A good stove provides more heat than an open fire. If you ever get to endure a week long power cut, you will be glad to have the stove.

3rd one. In keeping with a Chesterfield too imo. We have a Saxon and still love it after all these years!

I also prefer the 3rd pick esp with a dark chesterfeild .
It's the kind of look I want but I can't change my horrid fire ( rent ) but I have decorated with dark red pain and 'wood ' panel wall paper.
