I have a very drafty and not great looking fireplace that I would like to find a way of covering the gap decoratively but I don’t know where to start - how have you closed up your fireplaces?

They do make things to stop the draughty air but we just have an old pillow shoved up ours. Does it need to be visible and decorative?

Yh we’ve tried the balloon twice and it bursts each time and there’s a bit of rain that keeps coming in so worried about mould particles.
