What colour carpet with sage wall?

As subject suggests what colour carpet would go with a sage paint? Going up the stairs and into the landing! Preferably nothing too light as have a toddler. Been looking for ages and can’t find anything!

Perhaps a biscuity beige? Or a stripe pattern in beige/brown with some green. It depends on how dark your stairs are.

We have a 3yo and went for a grey on the stairs and landing and it’s holding up well!

I’ve been looking at sage for redecorating the living room. What shade have you chosen?

I think I'd also go for a biscuits beige, but something with lots of fleck in there or browns/greys. So the overall effect isn't too dark, but the fleck helps hide dirt
