Can anyone give me pros and cons of vinyl kitchen wrapping

Moved into a new house and everything is lovely, apart from the kitchen. We've looked into painting but my husband is scared it chips. I've been doing some research into wrapping but I can't find any real reviews, anyone had it done? It's it good or am I wasting my money?

Not had it done myself but my friend did. Cost just under £1000 and she loves it, it looks like a completely new kitchen.

As a couple of years fix it works well, has to be done well so no air bubbles.

I would use a company, but I'm undecided between that and paint! Don't want to spend a grand for it to look pants
