I have seen threads on here about sofa beds but i did not want to addd anything because I thought it wouldnt be read so here is a new thread.
My beloved sofa be has come to the end of the road. I have a sofa bed as I live in a studio flat and do not want a normal bed. I bought my sofa bed 32 years ago, yes 32 years ago. It is made of dralon and you cannot get dralon any more. It has a thick luxuy mattres and a wodden slat base. This is why it has lasted all these years. The only thing wrong with it is that it will no longer fold up into a sofa because the side spring action on one side no longer works It cost me £900 32 years ago and a sofa bed of this quality now would be over 1k
It is extremely comfortable and still is to sleep on and there is nothing wrong with it as a bed The shop i got it from has closed down.
What do people think about sofa beds or every day use? Mine has proven that you can (or could) get quaity sofa beds which are just as comfortable as a normal bed
any thoughts
