Narrow gliders so 3.6m curtains stacks into 53 m space? V light curtain would be fine

Hello

I have wide 3.6m sliding doors and kitchen surface adj on LHS. So I would like a light curtain to be able to draw at night. Just to cover the glass rather than for insulation. However I want the curtains to draw back completely into a rhs wall space 53 m wide, so either the lhs or rhs door handle can be accessed, and so the fill glass is exposed with curtains open
John lewis advised would need 72cm minimum for a wave curtain to stack on rhs.

The width of gliders being the limiting factor

Any ideas?! Don't want blinds

Let me have a think/measure. Coming back later.

Hi Feetup
I measured a large bay if mine with 4 curtains.
Three curtains covers 3.7m so I measured them open and loose it was 80cm
This is using a standard silentgliss track
The curtains are lined with blackout.
using a tie back this went down to 50cm

I am pretty sure that if you used thinner unlined fabric and maybe compromised slightly on the number of gliders, you would be fine.

@17to35 thank you, of course i hadn't thought about a tieback which would do the trickSmile!
