Can anyone recommend a small sofa bed?

I’m after something quite small that looks nice (it will it go in the front room alongside my other sofas) but one that is soft enough and comfortable for a couple of night sleep?? Ideally under £500

I should add, not a futon!

We have this, I'm afraid the 2 seater is £600 in the sale so over-budget but it's very well made, comfy and stylish

Honestly, I don't think they exist. We spent quite a lot on a sofa bed with a pocket sprung mattress and it's still not particularly comfortable and whilst it's billed as a double, it's only about 120cm wide. It is comfortable as a sofa though (M&S Abbey).

I think £500 is quite cheap (sorry) so you're not going to get something that fulfils both jobs well. Have heard good things about Furl but they're £££. I wouldn't waste your money, I'd get a nice sofa and look for other solutions for occasional overnight guests (pull out trundle / Murphy bed etc)

I have sofas already for every day sitting, I was going to get one nice chair to fill a space but I do have a friend that stays and if I had a sofa bed would be so much easier!!! I know £500 isn’t a lot, hoping to look in the sales! Any kind of fold out beds iv tried are shit inc blow up, fold out

We have a vimle from IKEA. It’s pretty comfy as a sofa, and has a decent mattress on bed.

We have the two seater sofa bed in office, and larger corner 4 seater with sofa bed in playroom.

I know you want it to be a comfortable bed but realistically how long will people sleep
on it? If it’s 1/2 nights they can manage so look for one that’s comfy as a sofa .

Ok so looking at space, it will be a ‘sofa chair’ as apposed to a whole sofa size…. Unless I get a small 2 seater… I’d love a ‘love seat’ but haven’t found any you could turn into a bed…

Might be good. Only 136cm wide, so small for 2 people, but spacious for 1, and an ok actual sofa
