Dulux Rum caramel 5 help

Soooooo I saw the most gorgeous paint colour sample in Homebase yesterday and I really, really have my heart set on it but I just don't know if it's going to be too dark for my hall/stairs/landing 😩 we have a good size hall etc with ceiling to floor windows so we have as much natural light as we could have. I have found the perfect carpet to match this and it really looks the part, I just need a gentle nod of confirmation that it's as nice as it is in my head. So I guess what I'm asking if any of you have this colour in your homes, do you like it? Is it as nice as you thought etc?

You will need a tester pot, a big piece of paper and some masking tape. Paint the sample on the paper (the reverse cog a piece of wallpaper is ideal), stick it on your walls d move it around to see how it looks in different lights.

The good thing about Dulux is that you can go down the scale to a lighter shade if you find 5 too dark.

Try searching on Instagram and/or Pinterest for pics, but you need to see the colour in your own house.
