What would you put on these shelves?!

I bought these shelves for my kitchen diner but realise now that it is difficult to fit anything in them! Any ideas?! Thanks (lemon is for scale!)

Small potted plants like mini cactuses in a glass or rustic pot or a plant that drapes down.

On the top shelf a himalayan rock salt tea light holder. Or any ornate tea light holder.

Egg cups and espresso cups and saucers

Erm… am I being unreasonable to ask why you bought them? If you have no use for them I’d gift them to the charity shop.

Spice jars, jam. Cookbooks side ways though they don’t look very strong.

I was thinking exactly this about the drapey plants. A few nice jars of something or other, a couple of cookbooks?

I have some shelves and I have my Emma Bridgewater bowls on them, the small flame thrower thing for brûlée, and my drinking chocolate canisters as it is near my velvetiser

If you don't need the extra storage take them down.

Don't fill it with stuff that needs removed for dusting just for the sake of it.

I think that I'd try to make it look like a face. The bottom bits are obviously teeth and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to make eyes a a nose. For fun you could grow moss to represent top lip fuzz, and maybe a spider plant on the top as hair.
