Has anyone encountered this issue before and if so how did you resolved it? I painted a room with Valspar matt emulsion and the room now smells like cat pee :-( I have been using the same paint elsewhere and this hasn't happened. Difference with this room is that I was painting over glossy eggshell paint on lining paper. I did wash the walls with sugar soap first. Brewers recommend using an alkali resistant sealer. Thanks.
