Where can I get a sofa delivered in next 2 weeks

I'm needing a sofa delivered for our new house. We need it sooner than initially planned and most sofa stores take at least 3 months for delivery. Does anyone know of any sofa companies that have sofas in stock that they can deliver sooner?

Amazon. I bought one in an emergency there.

Try a local store with ex display ?

paddingtonbearsmarmalade · 10/10/2021 20:45

IKEA?

Next have an “up to 2 weeks” delivery time option on their website.

Snug Sofas deliver very quickly, though I don’t know where you can try them out first.

somethingischasingme · 10/10/2021 20:45

IKEA- you can take it home on the day if you have car big enough!

Snowdropsandbluebells · 10/10/2021 20:45

Try ikea or maybe argos

CatherineCawood · 10/10/2021 20:45

I got one from Ikea within 2 weeks.

We got one from a local store, they'd delivered it & taken the old one away within 3 hours of us walking in the store

LizzieBet14 · 10/10/2021 21:00

Charity furniture shop? Our local one has some beautiful ones & they deliver too.

MattDamon · 10/10/2021 21:04

Ebay. We bought an ex sample sofa made for Next for half what it would have been in store. Filter condition for 'new' and 'new other'.

DanglingMod · 10/10/2021 21:06

Next and John Lewis have a lot available for 7 day delivery...they are in very "obvious" colours - beiges/greys etc- but worth a look?

Also, DFS ex display stock. Ours has a large room at the back with loads for instant delivery.

Xiaoxiong · 10/10/2021 21:10

I got one from the outlet shop of the sofa company that had just quoted me a 3 month wait. I didn't get to choose my fabric or shape, but they had about 50 sofas in all shapes and sizes that for various reasons were in the outlet - customer rejection/non-payment, ex-display, etc. We bought the one that was most comfortable and took it home that day.

Furniture village had some when I was looking. They said they had a surplus in storage (this was two months ago) and they could deliver within a week or twon

Hmumoftw0 · 10/10/2021 21:31

Sofa club deliver in 2 weeks what ever is in stock

Flowerchild547 · 10/10/2021 21:38

Oak furniture superstore! Ours came in 2 days!

dalrympy · 10/10/2021 22:00

Habitat at Argos. Some come quicker than that. Next day even

Blueblue37 · 10/10/2021 22:04

Definitely IKEA and also very good quality for not too much £££

Brightthing · 10/10/2021 22:06

You can filter Habitat by stuff in stock that’s available for immediate delivery

Also worth checking on eBay as places like Made have ex-display / back of a lorry type sruff which is available right away

Lj8893 · 10/10/2021 22:06

Our sofa from Next was delivered in 3 weeks but I’m sure there were some even quicker when we were looking.

Megan2018 · 10/10/2021 22:08

Dunelm sometimes do. Our kitchen sofa was from there and delivered in 48hrs as it’s not made to order.
Ikea definitely as others have said. But I’d probably get second hand until you can get what you really want. We’ve had some cracking used sofas in the past.

nachocheese · 10/10/2021 23:01

www.nabru.co.uk

You can either pick one of their standard designs or design your own, and they do next day delivery. It's all modular, and flat pack, so you have to build it yourself (unless you live close enough to their base and can use the service where they build it for you) but it's basically a wooden frame with the cushions etc added. It's not complicated. I love our Nabru sofa and would recommend to anyone.

mummymayhem18 · 10/10/2021 23:11

Argos

Essexgirlupnorth · 10/10/2021 23:15

There is a couple of sofa warehouse types places near out house that sell off old stock and can take them that day basically

Namechangenumber23 · 10/10/2021 23:28

Last sofa I bought was from Home Sense/ TK Maxx. Spotted it Saturday, they held it whilst I rang their recommended local man with a van who agreed he could definitely pick up/drop off for £20, paid for it straight after and it was in my house on the Tuesday (would have been Monday had I not been working late).
