Does anyone have one that doesn't look like either Ye Olde-y Worlde-y or like a TV/monitor screen? I don't even know what to Google! I suppose I want cosy, but it's more that the boiler and airing cupboard are in my bedroom, and the pilot light (?) wakes me up all night, clicking on and off, so I switch it all off at night, just to get some sleep. Plus, it's always too hot upstairs - I'm still sleeping with the fan on until about 4am. I want to be able to just warm up downstairs for a few minutes, before I get my son up. Also, the radiators are on 3 walls, so one is covered by the sofa. I'd just rather not use the central heating.
