Off-White to go with De Nimes

I have just had my new kitchen installed and it is painted in F&B De Nimes which I love! But having real trouble finding a suitable off-white for the many walls. I’ve tried Strong White, Great White, Ammonite, Dimpse, Wevet, Schoolhouse White (which F&B recommend but it is too yellow) - everything is either very green, yellow or grey. Looking for a neutral stone shade with a beige undertone if anyone can recommend anything? The room is very light and bright with huge glass doors and Windows so nothing too pale or white. Also liking Neptune Salt or Shell?

F&B recommend Shaded White.

De Nimes is a gorgeous colour. I'm considering it for my island

Have you looked at LG Slaked Lime light?

Shaded white, shadow white or skimming stone?

I’m about to do a room in de nimes & shaded white with Wimborne ceiling etc

De nimes is a dream colour - we did it in our study and it looks amazing.

@PoshWatchShitShoes

Have you looked at LG Slaked Lime light?
Ordered a sample of it - looks lovely - thank you for the recommendation!

I’m doing my front room in Wimborne white and probably having De Nimes for the woodwork

Shaded white is definitely more of a neutral than an off-white, shadow white on the other hand sounds like exactly what you are looking for.

Love Cornforth white

Little Greene - Shirting?

PompomDahlia · 10/10/2021 12:31

Agree with Shirting - it’s a nice pure white but not stark. Or LG Slaked Lime Mid is a nice greige assuming you have a decent amount of light in the kitchen

MaverickDanger · 10/10/2021 12:35

Rustoleum Steamed Milk is gorgeous and a perfect neutral.

Furries · 10/10/2021 12:47

If you’re looking for more of a stone shade, maybe look at Portland Stone from Little Greene - they have a Pale and Cool version of the shade that might suit?

Watching with much interest as we've just fitted a kitchen painted in De Nimes and we're also struggling with the right wall colour!

Lola1976 · 09/11/2021 17:51

OK so it's between F&B Strong White and F&B Ammonite. Actually we bought F&B Skimming Stone as loved the sample the best - but when I painted it on the walls I hated it against the kitchen - way too beige! I'm a nightmare LOL! LG Slaked Lime is too pale - haven't tried LG Shirting yet though!

Shirting is very white so if slaked lime was too light then Shirting certainly will be!
