Ottoman beds!!

I’m desperately in need of extra storage in the bedroom and I’m looking at ottoman beds so I can hide some bits away, store bedding and towels etc. I don’t have an unlimited budget and have seen some lower priced options on websites like beds.co.uk and the bed warehouse. Are these reputable companies? Can anyone share their experiences or recommend somewhere else? TIA

I've just ordered one from Argos actually! Prices seemed quite reasonable on there.

I've bought 3 ottoman beds ( 2 that lift from the end and one from the side) and have been very pleased with all of them.

We just bought the bases as we had already bought new mattresses.

I bought one from dreams and one from bensons for beds. All good so far!

We have one and its been amazing. Holds so much stuff and easy to access whenever you need.

The one thing I would caution though is not to let young children know you have it so they don't mess around with the mechanism as there have been cases of children being hurt.

Mine didn't know I had it for years because it had never been opened in front of them.

No small children here luckily!! Thank you for the endorsement though. Such a big purchase for us, so it’s good to know we’re making a good decision!!

I bought one earlier this year. Took me an age to find one that wasn't grey velour but found one I liked in the end. It was a brilliant, brilliant buy. We store all bedding, towels, loo rolls, Christmas presents, winter coats and shoes under there and there's still room left.

Habitat make some nice stuff! It’s sold through Argos where I live.

I bought mine off eBay. Think it was about £200 from a furniture seller.
Was the only decently priced white wooden solid-sided bed I could find plus it matched my very expensive fitted furniture. It's been a really good buy.

Arista Living do amazing ottoman beds and you can customise them yourself in size. Fabric, colour, headboard and style. They have like a design your own bed service. I've have 2 and both cost less than £250 with my discount code, they're excellent quality. Feel free to PM me if you want my discount code to get 50% off as I'm not sure I'm allowed to share it on here x

Ours is the hip hop ottoman from Bensons, reasonable price, bit of a bugger to put together but worth it.

I have the double IKEA Malm Ottoman bed. Was so pleased with it I bought the single one for my DD. It stores an insane amount of toys underneath.

I've bought 2 from Amazon so far and they're great, less than £160 each. Currently got my eye on one for us from Happy Beds - £500 for King size frame only.

Will be sorting one for DS soon as he's outgrowing his single bed!

Get one, I spent £350 on a king size diamanté studded one new, honestly I've not looked back, seasonal stuff and a couple of cases live under mine,
Great use of space
