What colour paint?

I am painting my hallway and landing- at present the walls are a beige colour. I have cream limestone tiles on the floor - these are staying. The skirting, doors and banisters will be white. The hallway is very light but the upstairs landing is quite dark as I keep the bedroom doors shut.

Use the blood of your DH ex wife. It's always a lovely shade.

What colours do you like? Does the beige look ok?
If you wanted light/off white, the Dulux timeless would look good.

I’m currently obsessed with f&b french grey which is not in the slightest grey but a sagey green, have just done my living room in it with beige/Sandy colour furniture.

Little Greene 'Pearl' (100) would look great with limestone. It's a very soft light green.

Natural Hessian might work well or might be too similar to what you have now.

Johnstone's Sage Green is lovely as is F&Bs Cooking Apple Green. Or Laura Ashley's Eau de nil.

If we're talking greens then Overtly Olive by Dulux is just gorgeous.
