Anyone bought an Emma Mattress?

Sorry I didn't know where to put this. As above, we need a new mattress and I wondered if anyone had bought one of these?
Or could you recommend another mattress? I know it's a very personal choice but I don't know where to start.

I've bought three! Started with one, it was amazing, as others have needed replacing they've all been Emma.
I've always found mattresses get a bit springy after a few years, so eliminating the springs is the perfect solution. I love the fact the top zips off and is machine washable.
Tip though, absolutely don't pay full price, there's almost always a deal on. I got one at John Lewis for about a third off with £100 store voicher thrown in once.

I've bought three - first one as a bee mattress for our guest room. It was so comfy that we then bought two more as we needed bee mattresses for our teenage DC.

As PP says, don't pay full price, there is always an offer or a discount code somewhere.

Ah amazing, thank you! I've read the reviews but wasn't quite sure if I should believe them or not.
The fact that you've both bought them multiple times says a lot!
Did you buy original one or the premium ones?.

Ours are all the Emma Original mattresses.

I have two. Going to get a third for the small bedroom. They are great.

It was too soft for me so I had to send back. Was in complete agony.

LastStarfighter · 24/09/2021 20:35

Ours is awful. Too hard to start with (but if you phone and complain about it they send you a soft topper for free). Too hot with the topper on. Then gradually too soft. Now taken the topper off and it’s still too soft and you can see the dents in the mattress. It’s like sleeping in two valleys with a hill in between.

sar302 · 24/09/2021 20:43

I have a love-hate relationship with ours. It's amazingly comfortable. But as above, you start to dent it and then end up both having to sleep in the little cocoon you've made for yourselves, with a hill in the middle.

It's also hot. But it does minimise the disruption from my husband flailing around in the night.

It irritates me. But god it's comfy.

Love ours

Plump82 · 24/09/2021 20:47

We got one and both our back pains disappeared over night. I was concerned it was going to be too hot but we haven't found it to be. Don't pay full price, look around for codes. I got 42% off.

MiaFarrowsWheelbarrow · 24/09/2021 20:48

We have one, had it a couple of years now I think, happy to recommend.

Misskittycat16 · 24/09/2021 21:53

Thank you everyone for replying. We have just ordered the original mattress so will see how we go.
We had a voucher code so got some money off.
I've spent more time looking at mattresses and trying to make a decision than I did buying our house earlier this year!!!

Yes; and it was the worst thing we ever bought. It was hard as nails, and gave me backache when I’d never previously had it.
We’ve still got it, and it’s horrible. Can’t wait to get rid of the thing.
