Plain or flecked carpet?

Trying to decided between plain or flecked... which would you go for and why? Will most likely go for a wool blend twist.

Ive got flecked carpets and they do hide small stains quite well if they don't come out with carpet shampoo

Flecked is far more forgiving of stains.

I much prefer the look of plain but agree flecked is easier for upkeep and hiding the dirt.

Flecked / twist is much more practical and looks smarter overall in my opinion.

Thanks everyone, I'm thinking a subtle fleck may be the way to go!
