Hi all
Need some help re living room please
We have gentle fawn on walls with white skirting boards and oak colour wood floor - the wall with t.v. has built in shelves which arw white with some.shelf decor few plants, the back wall behind sofa has two large 50x50 photo frames in dark wood the only other dark wood in the room is the seat on rocking chair, we also have a sideboard which is cream and oak top, the tv table is cream with a light wood grey top, I LOVE the rusty shabby chic look BUT what i have ended up with is a room that looks washed out and to me, dull.. I have some dark blush cushions on sofa which is a dfs sofa country living one.. I know you can mix wood but I dont want it looking jumbled and all over the place, i read that rule of thumb is to go by the colour of floor and work from there ... im so lost, I can upload pics im just not at home right now, my mum is an artist and I want to display her work on my walls but no idea wwhat style of wood photo frames to go on the walls, literally going to be like #50shadesofwood

Your help would be really appreciated! X

Do you need a pop of colour in the soft furnishings? I've ended up with varying shades of wood but the thing you notice most is the bright paprika wall and carpet plus bright teal sofas.
