Anyone got any good recommendations?

I quite like the ones from B&Ms, I find the scent throw quite good. There are some in Savers too which look the same and also are very effective but they don't have a good range of scents.

The ones in TK Maxx always look great but they have always been disappointing to me, unless there is a particular brand they do that is good that I should be looking for?

Oh, and extra points if they do an autumnal scent or packaging Smile

Aldi ones are good, I find.
The pomegranate one particularly or my favourite which is Oud and Bergamot - that smells quite Autumnal actually.

I like aldi ones too.

Ooh, I never go in Aldi, looks like I might need to make a trip. I like the sound of Oud and Bergamot.

Aldi!

I got a lovely one in Home Bargains yesterday - not sure how long it’ll last but it looks and smells quite expensive and it was only about £2!

Ooh, would you mind sharing what it's called? I go on HB quite often but haven't bought a reef diffuser in there funnily enough.

Absolutely - I’m afraid I’ve chucked the packaging but it looks like this! There was lavender, cherry blossom, and another one - they were along with the air fresheners and things. I love Home Bargains!

Wax Lyrical from TK Maxx/Homesense

TwoBlondes · 12/09/2021 12:32

St Evals, they last a long time

I buy the oil from m&s and put few drops into electronic diffuser. Scent fantastic, lasts for ages and works out much cheaper and better than Reed diffusers. However, when I used to buy them, the best I found was Rituals cedar and orange- Happy Buddha. It’s a lovely uplifting scent. If you live near an outlet, they’re third off.

Whenever I see any Pecksniff ones in HomeSense I get them because they last for ages. I had one that lasted well over a year. I got a Cedarwood and patchouli one yesterday there for £4.99.

I second Wax Lyrical (they crop up in HomeSense quite a lot) and Heyland and Whittle ones. I don’t like the Aldi ones at all.

The AromaWorks Hygge ones from TK Maxx or Homesense last for ages and the smell is lovely. I go for the one called Uplift

Agadorsparticus · 12/09/2021 18:18

Aldi for £3.99, I love the freesia & pear, that's my favourite closely followed by Lime, Basil & Mandarin.

LipstickLou · 12/09/2021 18:21

Asda, sainsbury and Prices (UK made). Fragrance professional here.

Another vote for Aldi. They do a copy of Jo Malone for £3.49 in the section near the toilet rolls.

MadisonAvenue · 13/09/2021 17:05

A bit more expensive (although we have an outlet down the road which helps) are the ceramic Yankee ones with pre-soaked diffuser sticks. You get five sticks but only need to use one to get a strong scent and they last for ages, plus there’s no oil to potentially get knocked over.

Shmithecat2 · 13/09/2021 17:06

Primark! Really good scent throw, and last for ages.

ButFirstTea · 13/09/2021 17:16

Wilkos, but only the basil and garden mint fragrance! It's amazing, I've got it in three different rooms plus a candle Grin
