My DP has had a last minute house move and needs all new furniture ASAP. We have sorted as much as we can from Marketplace/Gumtree/Freecycle but not managed to get any bedroom furniture so we are off to IKEA tonight. Except IKEA are currently having major issues with stock so it's not that easy!
Ideally he would like the furniture in the black/brown colour they do and has found a bed, chest of drawers and bed side tables but there are no black/brown wardrobes in stock (within his budget anyway). There is however a nice white wardrobe, so he has two options:
A) Black/brown bed, drawers and bedside tables but a white wardrobe
B) All white furniture instead but the bed is a more expensive one and not actually as nice as the black/brown one that is in stock
He has asked me what I think but I really can't decide, he really does prefer the black/brown but would it look odd having a white wardrobe?
The other option is to leave the wardrobe for now but we only have use of a van this weekend so would need to pay delivery, also there's no guarantee the black/brown wardrobe will come back in stock any time soon as we asked a member of staff last week and they said some products probably won't come back at all.
Any thoughts?
