curtains/blinds in a box bay with little head height.

We have 2 big box bay windows. The top panes of glass are coloured and a 'feature', there is very little height above the top of the window - enough for a narrow curtain rail.

The rooms are very dark so want to cut out as little light as possible in the day.

Drawing curtains back would lose the light from the 2 side windows of the box.

Don't want to put curtains over the whole box area (like a stage) as I think that will look weird and we'd lose floor space in the evening when they are shut.

Any innovative ideas?

Swish do bendable/curved curtain track for bay windows. It can be wall or ceiling mounted.
Our curtains aren’t thick so we only lose 1/2 a side window each end but I imagine if they were thicker it would be a whole side window each end.

Blinds never go up fully enough to not lose or cut off the feature top windows ime.

I've got swish rails in my bay window. They are attached to the ceiling.

Also got Swish attached to ceiling in bay.

These are thermal lined (custom made Dunelm) and don't lose too much light.
