I’d be so grateful for advice. I’m moving to a new place in December and want a really comfortable armchair, possibly with a footstool. My mobility is not great - 2 knee operations which weren’t successful and I need a chair with a high seat and a fairly high back. I don’t feel I’m quite ready for a ‘riser’ chair yet.
I want a new chair but I would like it upholstered in a fabric I have totally fallen in love with. I remember many years ago there was a shop in London which sold sofas and chairs covered just in a simple calico, ready to be upholstered in a fabric of choice. Does anyone know anywhere where I can find something like this? A comfortable but basic chair which I can then have covered as I choose. Probably a big ask but I’d be so grateful for any advice.
