I'm so not an interior designer - but would hate to get it all wrong...

Do these combos work... (see pics x 2)

Pink grey for DDage10 and Greeny grey for DDage8

Fabric for curtains
Small swatches are paint
Large grey is wardrobe sample
Feature paper as seen

I think they look great! Love that feature wallpaper with the zebras.

Me too!!! I'm so please DD likes it (DH not keen but luckily it's not his room hahah) It's from B&Q - hope it looks fab once it's up - I've three daughters so quite pleased one doesn't want pink... Still to work out the 5 year olds... Im thinking any paper I choose for her now she'd grow out of quite soon so think im sticking with paints and decals... but im lost with the pink paints - scared they're going to be too much...

I think the pics may not be doing it justice but the pale colours that are sort of taupe- they are a bit dated. Maybe change them up?

Also I would add in a few bolder elements with cushions, plants, pictures.

In the pink room - that is grey wisp paint by dulux And in the green room it's white mist - neither are taupe... (although despite this I actually have a gut feeling think Grey is on way out and creams / mushroom taupe more coming in)

The green paint itself seems pretty bold... actually worried it's too bold - but will also just be one section

Yes those schemes look great. My days had one wall in that sort of green. Ot was fine with other ligter paint and the wallpaper will neutralise it too.
