I’ve just pulled the new IKEA wool duvet of the bed and put the old ‘sleep in silk’ one from next back on as I can’t stand it.
Issues are, the crackly noise it makes,
the fact that IKEA king size doesn’t fit any
of my other king size covers and it is yellow which shows through making white bedding look cream !

Please recommend me something else. This one cost £95.

And should have mentioned that I bought wool because I’ve started having night sweats !

Have you thought about linen? It is not crackly but the rumpled look isnt for everyone. Made.com have a great range of colours and h&m seem to get decent reviews.

I'd try John Lewis - standard sizes and lot of options for fillings.

The cracklings isn’t limited to IKEA. My new soak and sleep one does it too and the cover is 100% unbkeached cotton. If it’s yellow could it also be I bleached. I wonder whether the bleaching process softens the fibres or something?

Giving this a bump as I'm looking for a new duvet too. Must not rustle.

Both the wool and the silk ones are lovely and don’t make any noise.

I've had a Fogerty wool duvets for years and it's never been crackly. I love that it's light but so warm in the winter and doesn't overheat in the summer.

The IKEA one sounds awful, can you return it as it's poor quality?

This is the one that I have, seems to be half the price I paid a couple of years ago when we upsized to a Superking bed.
