Hi everyone, we currently have tiles in most of our house , my back and ankles are crippled from it I think , however my husband seems to think it could not be the tiles as floor is floor, am I mad to fit LVT over the tile ? Will it make any difference

Try Birkenstock shoes first. Or sheepskin slippers. If it's what you are walking on it's an be easier fix.

I would check other things first, I’m currently laying LVT and it specifically states not to lay over tile, it also hasn’t made my fibro, spinal arthritis or bursitis in my ankles any less painful

Thanks a million for your comments , I’m at a loss to be honest where all the pain is coming from,

Always wear shoes or supportive slippers on hard floors in the house. I can't walk barefoot on hard floors anymore as it triggers pain

I had stone tiled floors in my last house and had pain walking. Slippers would wear out quickly. I eventually bought sketchers bobs slippers - really thick sole and fluffy insides. Far too hot for summer but really comfortable and didn’t give me any pain.
