I really don't want to faff around with made to measure, but am struggling to find ready made apart from Next/Dunelm and John Lewis. Please can anybody help?

Hi! I recently ordered a made to measure blind for my flat. I did lots of online quotes and British Made Interiors were the cheapest. The blind arrived the other day and I've not yet had it put up but it looks great from what I can tell so far.

I used blinds 2 go for all our blinds. They are good quality and lots of different styles and materials.

PS. I should add, yes it was a ROMAN blind too. I had already found a fabric I liked from Terry's Fabrics (google them, they are also good) but shopped around to see if I could get it made up cheaper, and British Made Interiors happily stocked the same fabric so I got them to make it.

If you want a well made bespoke roman blind the cheapest option probably won't be the best! Contact a professional soft furnishing maker who will have a range of fabrics at different price points. The roman blinds from Dunelm etc. won't be any where near the quality of an experienced curtain maker. If you let me know where you are in the country I could recommend someone.

I've used Blinds2go three times now and have been pleased with the quality each time. Reasonable cost and easy to fit. Will send fabric samples if you need them too.

You can put your measurements in on their web site and get an instant price, can add options like thermal or black out linings too (which they often have 'add for free' offers on).

I've ordered a few roman blinds from Blinds2go, and they've all been good with robust metal chains. Easy to put up too, says DH. I ordered a couple of roller blinds - got the measurements the wrong way round on one, totally my fault. They gave me a big discount on getting it remade.

I'm nearly finished making bed runners with Abraham Moon fabric, laboriously lovingly hand sewing because I don't have a machine. I've just looked at British Made Interiors and it looks like they'd have made them for about the same price! Next time, eh?

Another vote for Blinds2go - I have bought Roman, roller and vertical blinds from. Excellent customer service, easy to order and quick delivery. My father recently ordered all new curtains from their Curtains2go website and again would highly recommend.

Blinds2go, good quality and quick delivery.

Blinds direct have great fabrics, Clarke and Clarke
But if you want nice padded interlined blinds with no seams go to a local hand made blind maker.

Blinds2go all day long. We have Romans, Venetians and rollers all from them. Great quality, great prices, a wide selection of fabrics and easy to fit…I fitted all of ours myself.
