Colour match for Farrow and Ball?

Can you get a proper colour match for Farrow and Ball pants from anywhere? If so, where is best at colour matching? I'd like to exactly match the colours, not get the closest colour in another company's range.

If you can get an exact colour match, is there anything that makes it worth paying the extra for Farrow and Ball? If we went with Farrow and Ball, we'd probably go for the modern emulsion finish as assume it would cope better with busy family life.

Thanks, would really appreciate any suggestions!

I get them from the decorating centre online and they are normally bang on with the colour and better quality than f&b

@catinboots21 thanks, which paint do you get from decorating centre online? I looked at them but was a bit put off by the mixed reviews online. Thanks 😊

Valspar were good.

My best tip:
Get a F&B test pot
Get the colour match done as a test pot
Paint each on white A4 & compare for yourself in the room, various times of day etc

We get ours from the local Dulux Decorators Centre . You can choose what kind of paint you want Matt, Heritage Matt, diamond Matt, soft sheen etc etc.

Just take the F&B colour card with you and tell them which one formulation you want.

@ChequerBoard thanks, did you find it to be a good match from Dulux for the Farrow and Ball colours? Thanks

We had a few f&b colours matched at brewers using Leyland paint. They were spot on!

Don’t take the new colour card with the printed chips! Absolute sh*te. Either get the proper fan swatch book or buy a tester, paint it out over two coats and then match to that.

We get Johnstone's (or Johnson's?) paint made up at the local paint shop, the colour match is brilliant. I get the durable one as we have 6 dogs, and it wipes down beautifully.

There’s a really good website but I can’t remember the name. Sorry! Not helpful!

We get Johnstones mixed up in vinyl matt. My husband works at a builders' merchants and says that's what all the professional decorators use. Apparently even better than F&B itself!

Thanks for all the comments. I was a bit hesitant about using the colour match as had seen stories where it turned out completely different!

@GuckGuckDoose thanks, I hadn't actually thought about how to get a colour match done!

Do people normally take in a F&B tester pot, or paint it onto a piece of paper? Thanks!

I remembered the paint website! No need to paint a piece of paper or anything; just type the shade colour and brand of paint into the little colour match box. It worked really well for us.
