Would you rather have a small bedroom with walk in wardrobe or a large bedroom?

I currently have a large room with lots of floor space. It's an odd shaped room, so I'm thinking of putting a dividing wall to create a walk in wardrobe. This would leave a smaller room for the actual bed.

Would appreciate thoughts.

I have a small bedroom with a walk in wardrobe. The house next door has a massive master suite but a sort of walk through wardrobe to the en-suite. I much prefer ours. I don't know why the master has to be big, we're not kids we don't need space to play 🤷🏻‍♀️

My dressing room has space for a wardrobe with large sliding doors, a large chest of drawers and a long narrow desk/dressing table. This is currently my home office.

For me, it depends. I would choose a walk in wardrobe, providing the room is still of a generous size, with room to get out both sides of the bed.
But, if a walk in wardrobe would make the room small, I would pass. After all, if the house sells to a couple in future, they could use the other bedrooms to store their clothes. We have a four bedroom house and I have a whole other bedroom (the guest room) for my clothes, while my husband uses the wardrobe and chest of drawers in our room.

A large bedroom. I only have a small wardrobe and standard chest of drawers with all my clothes in. Dont need a walk in wardrobe.
