I keep seeing this talked about, and am wondering whether to give it a go on a few projects.

Is it as good as 'they' say it is?

I've just started doing upcycling and I like it. Goes on well, good coverage, no odour and dries quickly. Beautiful depth to the colour and its self sealing. Apparently there are issues with the 'dazzle me' colour but I've used hornblower from the lazy range and blackjack from Alfresco and very happy with both.

I’ve also been doing some upcycling.

I like it too - I’d agree with the ‘dazzle me’ issue but the others are good.

I’ve used several colours all fine. I’ve currently run out of things to paint!

Just been using al fresco for upcycling and it goes on nicely and lovely colours. Cant comment on longevity yet.

Have you noticed they only have good reviews on thier website and the fan forum, they sensor all bad feedback. Ask yourself howmany companies just have good feedback. Even the best companies have faults, but not Frenshic. I know some of their stockists call them Frenshite due to they way they treat them as well. The paint maybe OK (and only OK) but do you want to give money to a company who treat people like that.

Try looking at the reviews on Trust pilot - they can't delete and edit those

Have used it in the past - the fresco used outside on a door has peeled after a year despite following all prep requirements. Indoors it is ok, needs plenty of coats. I recently used Valspar furniture paint(B&Q) - so much better, many more colours to choose from and went on like a dream. Allegedly only positive comments are allowed on the Frenchic facebook pages, allegedly negative comments aren't approved by admins. Look at the '#not the best paint in the world discussion group' on facebook for advice on paint types and uses
