How do I tie all this together? Living room ideas

Our living room faces NW it's longer than it is wider with french doors onto the garden. Lovely and cool all year round but is obviously darker than other rooms.

Currently it's painted white, we have a mid blue velvet sofa which we love.

We want to keep it restful but we've bought some African wildlife photos which are gorgeous.

How do we tie it all together so we keep the peaceful feeling but incorporate out lovely new photos?

Need ideas for textures, colours etc. Photos below for idea.

Thank you

I would use burnt orange and or green on walls
The clue is in your pictures. See if you can match the colours in there, they are so natural and complementary.if it's a long room, use darker colours on opposite sides or one side. The darker colour of will project that wall forward making it feel less long and narrow.

Difficult to say without photos of the room.

Thank you, I was thinking a light sage green.

I would stick with blue and white and tie the pictures in with cushions or throws with white, blue and another colour from your pictures.
