Hi I am looking for some nice white sheets and duvet sets on a budget. Don't really want to spend more than £35-£40 on a king size. Can anyone recommend any brands? Thank you

I have this set from Asda duvet set. It is polycotton and normally I prefer 100% cotton, but it feels nice and it's washing well.

I have some from The Range that are lovely. They're soft and washing well too after a year or so. Think they were £30ish

Thank you. I had a look at the asda one and it's waffle which we have at the moment and my husband hates it. We got it from next in the same band honestly the quality is shocking.

I have some from dipanddoze which will be above budget but not extortionate, think about £80 for a king set but usually a discount available.

Otherwise, if you have a tkmaxx you might get a nice set there but obviously luck of the draw.

TK Maxx are good for reasonably priced stuff.

I'd also add that that is the most I've ever spent on a duvet set in my life but I thought I'd try as DH has allergies and I've ended up having to give so much away when it's found to affect him. You get a guarantee with this that you can return for any reason so that drew me in. I then bought a 2nd set and we just alternate.

Home Sense normally have great sets. You do have to strike lucky as their stuff rotates quickly

Ikea has some 100% cotton ones in that price bracket. I have the ofelia vass ones which are a woven textured white-on-white stripe but the dvala ones are just plain if your husband isn’t a fan of textured bedding
