How much roughly to have a professional painter and decorator

Just wondering if anyone has a rough idea of price for a living room to have 3 walls papered and 3 walls painted. Also ceiling and skirting boards etc.

Depends where you are but here in the south west I’ve just paid £200 a day.

I’m in the Midlands: typical day rate is £130-150 labour only.

Yep. About 3 days work - £600 ish round these parts.

That sounds about right. Also, roughly three days per room.

I pay £100 a day. In London. I have known the guys a long time though, and put a lot of work their way.

I recently paid £100 per day. West Yorkshire. Very good job done.
