Dark paint colour in bedroom?

We're redecorating the house we have just bought, following rewire and plaster skim. I really fancy a dark paint in the bedroom, thinking about F&B de Nimes or oval room blue. The bedroom is south facing, so I'm thinking it might not be too dark, but DH is a bit .
Can anyone share thoughts or pictures?

Not really in that picture! Meant to delete that one. Was hard to photograph as sun kept shining in!

We have saphire salute in our bedroom and love it!

We have oval room blue in our north facing bedroom and I really love it. The cupboards are painted inchyra blue which is even darker but it's absolutely gorgeous.

I think a noble blue would look great in the bedroom. Especially if it is cold blue. In general, you can see ideas on Pinterest
