Painting a front door - do I paint the frame the same colour?

Finally decided on a bold blue colour. I can't decide whether the frame should be painted the same colour or it should be white?

The door and frame are wood and they are currently both painted in a light stone colour.

We'd had both, it's whatever you prefer really.

I think it always looks better when they are both the same colour. It makes the door look bigger and neater.

White frame, more traditional. Same colour, more modern.

Same colour looks better IMO. Why have a white line around your front door?

I like both, but I chose not to paint the frame in f&b Railings, which is the colour we chose for the front door. I like the contrast. Edwardian property.

It's an old house (1780s) so I think I'll go with white frame to stay traditional.

Thank you for helping me make a decision.
