Karndean over a large area - should I use borders?

We're planning to use Karndean over several rooms with the same herringbone style throughout to try and make the area feel more spacious. I've seen some pictures where people have used a border and they look great but I'm wondering if I have the 2 rooms borders meeting at the doorway it might not look as good as something that just runs through. Hopefully that makes sense?! Anybody tried either, or have any advice? Many thanks!

We have Karndean wood effect with a border running throughout our downstairs, hallway, kitchen & large living room. We actually had our kitchen & hallway done first 14 years ago and then 4 years later built a large extension and we're able to match the flooring throughout. Still looks pretty good considering the amount of wear it gets.

I think the border running through (as per first 2 pictures) looks better than meeting at the threshold (3rd picture) - mine runs through and creates a good “flow” between the rooms.

We have just laid amtico and we’ve used borders to delineate between rooms. It looks good, I think. We’ve used the same colour, finish etc in all rooms but different laying patterns for each room, to try and have some variety. I really like it - something to consider?

@MrsKipling16 that's a good idea, seems obvious now but I hadn't thought of it!! Thank you 😊 I like the borders but wasn't sure how it would look with the two borders at doorways so this might be the perfect solution. Thanks for the photos

@WellTidy that's another option I hadn't thought of - thank you! It would be lovely to see photos if you don't mind posting them

I didn't use borders at all. I only have Karndean in the lounge and hall, but I love the flow and the spaciousness of it being borderless. I have it laid straight though, not herringbone.
