Can't decide between the two navy based wallpapers. I've attached a photo of my colour scheme. The first or second?

I like the first but also like @JaninaDuszejko's gorgeous one too

bethabean · 16/07/2021 09:21

Second for sure. Love the parrot

SunSeaSurfGin · 16/07/2021 10:15

First one Smile

Tubbyinthehottub · 16/07/2021 10:28

Parrots. The parrot one looks more modern to me.

Purplecatshopaholic · 16/07/2021 10:31

Love them both, but it would parrots for me

MiniCooperLover · 16/07/2021 10:35

2nd as I prefer the darker more blue blue whereas the first dark blue looks a bit purple to me

2nd

This is gorgeous! - I'm not even slightly creative though! Why wall would I put this on? Here's a quick pic of my lounge -- thinking wall with the long thin windows? ... ignore the wine glass!

If it was a bedroom I’d use something like this

www.beut.co.uk/coordonne-core-edo-mural-wallpaper.html

This company has some beautiful wallpapers for any room.

Bluntness100 · 16/07/2021 11:54

In the green I should add.

GreyhoundG1rl · 16/07/2021 12:16

@Jabbinell

The first one is stunning! I love the intensity of the colours.

that wallpaper is lovely.

Yes I'd put it on the end wall. Get one or two accessories in the colour of the bird (ag a couple of cushions) and paint rest of lounge pale grey

custardbear · 17/07/2021 07:27

Thank you @steppemum

Bluesheep8 · 18/07/2021 08:26

Second

Fozzleyplum · 18/07/2021 08:29

I like them both, but prefer the 2nd.

FlowerArranger · 18/07/2021 08:33

This is a feature wall, right? Because both papers are way to way out for an entire room.

Having said that, and birds or no birds, I would go for #2 as it's slightly more restrained and coherent.

I think you'd tire of #1 much sooner than #2...

Roystonv · 18/07/2021 08:34

First. But regarding curtains (!) Do you have to - why not blinds/shutters? Think wallpaper looks so tropical window treatment needs to match aesthetically - ooh get me!

HunkyPunk · 18/07/2021 08:39

I'd go for the first. The colours are lovely, and go better with the paint, imo. Also the parrots might not age very well. I'm not a great fan of creatures on wallpaper, unless it's in a playroom/nursery!

FreeBritnee · 18/07/2021 08:40

I feel like I need to see an example of them up on a wall to truly tell but my gut instinct says the muted colours of no. 2 would be better.

headintheproverbial · 18/07/2021 08:40

I like the colours in the second better but I too think the parrots themselves are a bit naff.
