How much?!

I need a kitchen light and have been looking for nearly a year (minus the bits when we were in lockdown). I’ve finally found one that I love but I have 2 issues:

1. It’s statementy and I don’t 100% trust my judgement but I’m 98% it’ll look fabulous and I hate things that are just “ok”.

2. it’s £1200 which I can afford but also know there are more sensible things to do with my money.

Can anyone push me off the fence?

Well, we need to see it really. Good statement lights can be expensive - but that is indeed particularly steep! Maybe someone can suggest something similar but cheaper if you post a link?

I love a statement light fitting, currently trying to sell one from my last kitchen (hopes it would be nice in our new house but it’s the wrong vibe). Go for it.
