Hello, I was wondering if anyone had had any success updating their marble hearth, whether that's by tiling over it or the difficulty/expense of getting rid of it all together. We're never going to use it as an open fire as we have young DC and I'm too paranoid about accidents happening.
It's a very 90's peachy beige colour marble and is looking decidedly tired and old fashioned. I've tried to get on board with it but we've lived in the house over 6 months and I really dislike it. It seems to be stopping us getting on with the rest of the room! Any tips welcome
