Best Instagram accounts to follow

Hi. I live in a tiny cottage which I am slowly redecorating and wondered if you recommend any Instagram accounts to check out / follow which might help inspire me

There are so, so many, and it will hugely depend on your taste and style, but as a starting place you can't go far wrong with the extremely wise and knowledgeable Kate Watson-Smyth, aka @mad about the house (underscores between the words but MN turns those into underlining!).

She is a journalist with loads of experience, runs an inspiring and very useful blog, does a podcast with designer Sophie Robinson, and has written about 4 books. She will also signpost you to loads of great accounts to follow. I can't think of a better starting place for Interiors Instagram.

Lisa Dawson is another really good blogger/Instagrammer to start following for advice; Bianca Hall aka French for Pineapple as well. But that's just off the top of my head/tip of the iceberg. There are literally hundreds of talented people sharing and writing about interiors on Instagram. Try not to follow too many people just renovating their own houses as they can get a bit identikit, but once you find a few accounts whose style you like, the app/algorithm will start showing you more of the same!

My favourites are the frugality (Alex Stedman) - love everything about her house, endoftherow (Stacey I think?) - really gorgeous style, and victorianadventure- lovely house and very hands on diy.
