What colour should I paint my hall?

It's small but a fairly high traffic area. I want something fairly light but just can't seem to de ode on a colour.

What colours are in right now? I'd be painting over grey so really would like something different.

I wouldn't worry about what's 'in'. What sort of colours do you like?

Fashion is moving away from greys to warmer tones, so beiges, creams, pink tones. However as PP says it depends what you like! Also how much light your hall gets, which way it faces, what the flooring is like etc etc.

Have a look at Pinterest/ Instagram for ideas, especially if you can find spaces similar to yours.

I'll suggest my favourite colour, F and B skimming stone, it's a beautiful warm greige, more beige than grey

I had a thread recently about this! I went for Dulux timeless.

Thanks everyone. I'd guessed it was moving to warm beiges and pinks which would be a welcome change from the grey we have now.

@BunnyRuddington I really like Dulux tranquil dawn which is a green grey. Had this in my old living room, I loved it.

Ours is Teardrop and koala bear woodwork from victory colours. Its lovely and hard wearing.
