Help - denim drift feels too dark!

Hi all, I’ve just painted our living room with denim drift, really set on it after painting large tester squares all around the room to decide on it.
We don’t like it 😧whilst it is cosy at night time, the whole room now feels quite dingy in the day, especially the morning, like we need the lights on all the time. Really tempted to paint over it with one coat of something slightly lighter. Has anyone got any colours that are similar but not so grey in tone? We don’t want a baby blue/wedge wood blue but nothing too grey.

We have de nimes which I think is exactly the same as denim drift. We have lighter everything else - light carpet, light rug, wooden furniture, big bright painting. What else have you got in the room?

When it first went on I was really worried but I love it now. Do you think it'll grow on you?

I’m considering Little Greene Grey Stone for a bedroom at the moment for similar reasons. Maybe too blue though?
