So we've decided give our bedroom make over, after manyyears.Whatsort of colours are in?I know grey is in but want to give the bedroom a classy look.
I have a white hollywood type dressing table so anything that would compliment that too.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Thankyou.

What do you like? What feeling are you hoping to get from the room? Your bedroom isn't going to be seen by loads of people (or maybe it is?! 😉😬), so I would just pick what makes you happy. It's supposed to be a sanctuary so I wouldn't feel obliged to follow an 'in' fashion/style unless it's something you happen to love (TBH this should be true throughout your house, but I can understand wanting to be 'on trend' in more visible rooms).

FWIW my bedroom has 3 cream walls and a cream/duck egg Laura Ashley paper on the 4th. I got the cream paint matched to the wall paper. All the furniture, built in wardrobe, and blinds are oak. I last redecorated 7 years ago, but it feels calming, light, and airy. It's in good nick and I still love it, so it won't be changing any time soon.

Do you have Pinterest? May be an idea to get it and start saving images you like. That will give you an idea of the sort of style to go for.

Do you like colour? Pastels? Florals? Geometric patterns? Chrome? Rose gold? Flamingos? Beach huts? Industrial? The 1940s?

This is the info we need!

Yes, who cares if it is ‘in’ although I think I know what you mean if it’s to get some ideas.

I’ve just gone for a bed with a big headboard in dark grey and I want a big bold splash of colour so I’m thinking of doing this with the bedding rather than wallpaper. I really fancy the Sara Miller bedding.
