Or give me some ideas.
I'm redecorating my bedroom and have no inspiration for the new design. I'm going to get a new bed, furniture and curtains, the carpet is a light beige with a pink undertone that needs to stay. The carpet is a problem but is too good to change.
I've scoured pinterest but all the bedrooms I love are in period homes and my home is about 20 years old and a traditional design not particularly modern.

What kind of bed do you like?
You can always cover some of the carpet up with a rug.
Do you want wallpaper?

I'd suggest white or painted white furniture. Are you having built in or free standing?

I want a bed with legs and a fabric headboard, preferably not wallpaper as I can paint but I've never wallpapered.
I've got built in wardrobes which were done when the house was built, they are very plain and would fit in any scheme. I quite like the look of the Ikea hemnes bedroom furniture.
