Recommendations where to get flooring York/North Yorkshire area

Hi - anyone got a recommendation for / good experience with retailers for floors (including fitting/installation) in York/North Yorkshire area?

We are looking at a hard floor for the ground floor (not sure yet what, but it won't be tiles) and carpets for upstairs.

Whitby has a good one. Fletcher and woodhouse. Take pride in the work. Ma6 be too far for you tho ?

I’ve just seen this and a bit late but can highly recommend J S Woodcraft. Based in Sutton on the Forest. Really helpful and not pushy sales. Sorted us out with a good fitter as well.
