So far I have seen a Schmidt kitchen and design and I am about to get a Leicht design and quote they both looked great
I then saw a Nobillia kitchen as a company called kitchen finder said that the raw materials sued by the likes of Schmidt and Leicht were the same in that they used the same “egg boards” and hinges etc etc.
The reason for the difference in price I was given was is that Nobilia is the biggest manufacture in the world and had economies of scale but it offers far less of a choice in terms of colors and materials.
The thing is everyone who has talked to me has a vested interest to either critisise Nobelia or else falsely claming that Nobilia has the same quality when the truth is is just does not.
The Nobilia quote was about 8,000 less than the other quotes about 3,000 of that was due to the fact they recommended quartz rather than granite or Declan.
I loved the look of the Declan marble effect for the counter and splash back and it also is exteremely heat resistant.
However it was way more expensive than quartz and I may settle with that
I am defiantly going for granite as I know myself well enough to know I will not keep it clean and the only proper clean will be the once a week clean from my cleaner.
Does anyone know where I can get objective advice or else personal experience with a Nobillia kitchen.
