Having our kitchen re-done and would like some advice about kitchen floor materials. Ideally we'd like underfloor heating (electric not gas). Our builder said it can be a fire hazard with laminate floors but I've never read this anywhere- is this true (I was thinking about wood look laminate)? Are tiles better? Engineered wood? And can anyone recommend a company who can supply both the underfloor heating and the cover material that's reasonably priced? Thanks!
