How to stop Sofa cushions slipping

We've got a new sofa that I love except for the fact the base cushions gradually slide out and it's really bloody annoying! Is there anything I can use to keep them in place (without resorting to fixing velcro to both the sofa and cushions!)

Try the stuff that you put under rugs to stop them slipping.

One of our sofas and a chair is like this - the only thing I'd thought of was velcro (the type which is adhesive), but the rug gripper sounds ideal. I am definitely giving this a go.

Double sided carpet tape - holds really well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue when you remove/replace it.

@SoosanCarter you're a genius 2 rolls was enough for both large sofas and a small spare bit for the front door mat
