Living room help!

Hi all!
Need some help pls
My living room is dulux gentle fawn with soft truffle on wall where tv is, I have always loved the shabby chic look BUT this room is to beige, I am to scared to inject colour and dont know where to start with what colours, behind sofa I have two big monet paintings framed as I love art work but yeah what cushions are best for sofa and armchair, what colour artificial flowers could I use? I am clueless right now but need a revamp! Curtains are also a neutral colour from dunelm years old but cost a lot because we have long and wide windows which are awkward to dress, thanks for any tips!

It would probably be helpful if you posted photos of the Monet artwork - I think your best bet is to draw your colour palette from those.

Thank you, I dont have pics of them with everything else but this is what they are, one is total greenery the other green and pink, my two fave paintings but when i tried to put green plants in the room it doesn't go with the soft truffle wall as it has purple undertones, so confused😫

I would go with striped green cushions and bright fuschia peonies. I've put together a little mood board for you. I hope you don't mind.

If you don't like the fuschia you could go with a purple flower instead, maybe hydrangea?

Thats so kind of you! The cushions also have some beige in so they will definatley match well, im going to go in search for some now, ive always read about adding textures and patterns but can't get out of the beige zone but exited to try this! Thank you so much for your help

No problem! The striped green cushions are from IKEA, and Amaranthine Blooms have some lovely faux flowers. I also think some dark rattan might look nice as well, like the Inya bowl from Kalinko (photo attached).

Pooky's Temple Green Block Printed lampshade is lovely also. Sorry, I seem to be full of ideas today!

There is a lovely bright blue in the picture of Monet's Iris Garden.
